В ДНР стартовали Чемпионат и Первенство ДНР по велосипедному спорту

Сегодня, 20 июля в Донецке стартовали Чемпионат и Первенство ДНР по велосипедному спорту – маунтинбайк в гонке олимпийский кросс-кантри.

Организатор соревнований Министерство молодежи, спорта и туризма ДНР.

Гонка по пересеченной местности проходит на специально оборудованной площадке в Буденновском районе Донецка.

По словам куратора велосипедного спорта ДНР Татьяны Андрущенко, это основной Чемпионат Донецкой Народной Республики по маунтинбайку в олимпийском виде кросс-канти, в котором принимают участие велосипедисты из Донецка, Енакиево, Макеевки и гости из Луганска.

«В чемпионате принимают участие около 120 велосипедистов разных возрастов: от 2004-2008 годов рождения до взрослых спортсменов. Сложность трассы зависит от возрастной категории участников: чем старше спортсмен, тем сложнее трасса. Совсем маленьким участникам 2004 –2007 года рождения надо пройти свой маленький круг, а взрослым спортсменам для победы надо преодолеть сложный большой круг с крутыми спусками и различными препятствиями и уложиться в срок».

Она также добавила, что завтра, около донецкой школы № 115 участники соревнований будут состязаться в гонке на равной площадке.

Победители соревнований, которые определяться в личном зачете, будут награждены медалями и грамотами от Министерства молодежи, спорта и туризма ДНР, и памятными сувенирами.
